I recently picked up a large sized, GPS range bag.
I have been thoroughly impressed with its quality. Not only does the digital camo pattern look great, it’s double layered heavy fabric that is fantastic for use at the gun range.
Remember, one of the best things you can do for your own survival or preparedness is to practice often in order to hone your skills. It’s a must in order to ensure that should you ever need to use the weapon, your muscle memory can overcome the adrenaline. A bag like this makes visiting the range a lot easier.
It has numerous pockets, all pre-labeled for various items such as:
- Shooting glasses
- Hearing protection
- Staple gun
I have found the labels to be extremely useful, eliminating any of the “Where did I put that thing?” that is almost inevitable when using a larger duffel.
The large interior main area of the bag leaves plenty of room for multiple handguns, and other toys, and the handle has built in straps to hold rolled up targets. (No more crumpled paper targets at the range!)
It has an entire side dedicated to holding magazines and cleaning rods, which is handy in the field.
My favorite part is that one side of this bag folds down to make a soft surface to work on your firearm.
This side of the bag has different velcro bins for holding parts, and separators for keeping things in place while working. (I’ve found the bins are great for holding loose rounds at the firing line for reloading, or for collecting your brass.)
The sides of the bag have “Lift Ports” which are very solidly stitched and great for pulling the bag out of the back seat of the truck.
My local range had these for sale, but I found them much cheaper through Amazon, here.
